Azealia Banks “Liquorice”
About.

I live in a constant state of early 90s.
When college rock was good.
And black people were still on TV.

So let's talk about _____ .
     Azealia Banks “Liquorice”

Speaking of things I like…have you gotten into this yet?  Because this is fire.

This is basically all I ever wanted in life: 90s house beats with some gutter hoodrat lyrics.  Thank you Ms. Banks for making my life complete.  Also, can we talk about how Crystal Waters needed to be singing this hook?  Where was she when this was being made?  There’s still time though.  You know these two will end up on the same bill at some Gay Pride Afterparty one of these summers.

Azealia actually leaves a bad taste in my mouth because she’s one of those New Style Obnoxious Colored People who lets their white friends say nigger and whatnot.  And then she talks about it in interviews.

She’s also a huge punk.  How you start beef with ESTABLISHED RAPPERS and then a week later say “I never wanted to be a rapper; I quit the rap game.”  Don’t start none, won’t be none Ms. Banks.

So, me and Azealia have some issues to work out.  But I will probably ignore every Sideeye Situation she gives me because she makes music like this.  You saw those day-glo pleather circa 1995 outfits near the end right?  She is just so clearly speaking right to my soul with everything in this video.

(Except her horseriding skills.  I know her coochie was swole up than a mugg after the day was done…)
