Julianne Moore to play Sarah Palin

I never actually realized how much they do favor.

(also: LOL at “favor” and how black people in/from the South never say “look alike.” We say “favor.” Get into it.)

Julianne Moore is getting fit for claws — she’s about to play Sarah Palin, the Mama Grizzly herself.

HBO Films announced on Wednesday that the actress will take on the role of Sarah Palin in its film adaptation of the 2008 election tell all book, “Game Change,” written by Mark Halperin and John Heilemann. Moore is the first member of the cast, which will feature screen versions of the top players in the election, such as Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John McCain. (cont.)

If you have not read Game Change, I STRONGLY recommend it. They skeet all over Sarah, but it’s not just about her. You find out all kinds of secrets about that presidential race. Totally worth the time.

And, I’m just going to go ahead and call it: Julianne is going to get an Emmy for this role. I know there are a lot of screw-faces about Tina Fey not playing Sarah, but that would take the tone away from the film. Even with all of Julianne’s recognition, I *still* think she’s one of the most underrated actresses of our time.

Definitely watching this.
