About.

I live in a constant state of early 90s.
When college rock was good.
And black people were still on TV.

So let's talk about _____ .
     Watch this video.

Wish “Feel Ur Beat”  (skip to 1:35 to avoid all the bad acting)

You know…I’ve been secretly waiting for some chick to come out with a “gay black single.”  Not just a song the homonegroes will vogue to, but one that you can tell was specifically written with that demographic in mind.  Well, Wish just did it.  The entire video, you can tell Miss Wish has been a tagalong to many a Ball, but the breakdown near the end just cements it.

If Nicki Minaj, Lil Mama, and Miss Lawrence made a song together, I’d imagine it to sound pretty much just like this.  I’ll reserve total praise until I hear some more, but I can probably fucks with Miss Wish.  Good party music.  (and it makes me want to dance in ways of which I am completely incapable…like vogueing…or bootypopping)
