Why a more inclusive Republican party could actually be good for Democrats.
The RNC wants us to believe that they’ve turned over a new leaf and shall no longer be the default party for racists, bigots, homophobes, and ill-fitting suits. Unsurprisingly, the knee-jerk reaction from many Democrats has been something along the lines of “if we can’t vilify Republicans and posit them as the most evil creatures on the planet, why would anyone vote for us since we are so weak and whine a lot?” And of course, when America doesn’t vote Democrat, everything goes all to hell.
But, this could all work out in the Donkey’s favor.
