The son of American evangelist Benny Hinn was arrested in Brazil after allegedly beating up a deaf and dumb man during one of his father’s rallies, it was reported today.

Hestephenson Araujo, 21, reportedly needed hospital treatment after the incident on Saturday night during a religious crusade in Manaus, northern Brazil.

Police detained Joshua Hinn, 21, along with two of Benny Hinn’s bodyguards, on suspicion of torture after the three men allegedly locked Mr Araujo in a trailer and physically assaulted him.

What is this for if not to massacre people? Why was Spengler, a felon convicted of murdering his grandmother, able to get his hands on it?

They are looking for any facts, figures, or results even tangentially related to stopping brown people for being brown, and this is just their latest attempt to justify an egregious policy based on race and prejudice.

America loves guns. But America is also really violent.

We hear gun supporters often say “guns don’t kill people…people do.” True. A gun can’t walk up to you and discharge itself. Also, the mere presence of a gun doesn’t mean someone will die of a gunshot. In civilized countries where guns are common, deaths by firearms are lower than in the United States because apparently, we’re violent people who don’t know how to behave.

This is why we need gun control.
Because Americans don’t know how to act.

Fraternity bonding got a little too real at Oklahoma State.

Charges have been filed against the former member of the OSU FarmHouse fraternity, accused of sexually assaulting other members.

Nathan Michael Cochran, 22, is facing three charges of sexually battery for the alleged incidents.

Officials at Oklahoma State University launched an investigation on Nov. 12, 2012, but say federal law prohibited them from telling Stillwater Police until last Friday.

Stillwater Police say they have interviewed the alleged victims, however they believe there could be more.
