Pink is for girls. And blue is for boys.

So, in an effort to make Easy-Bake Ovens gender neutral, the company is ditching their pink and purple color scheme next year.

This is all wrong. Clearly what we need is a national campaign to switch the genders associated with certain colors. Pink and purple should be boy colors, because manly things are pink and purple. Like blood and guts and scratches and bruises. And girl things are blue. Like that festive blue liquid they use to demonstrate how much period juice those little pads will soak up.

Okay: In the role playing game known as The Real World, “Straight White Male” is the lowest difficulty setting there is.

This means that the default behaviors for almost all the non-player characters in the game are easier on you than they would be otherwise. The default barriers for completions of quests are lower. Your leveling-up thresholds come more quickly. You automatically gain entry to some parts of the map that others have to work for. The game is easier to play, automatically, and when you need help, by default it’s easier to get.

Um…especially when I’m not even trans.

I love my long hair. So do other people. But really though? I’m not automatically a lady just because my head isn’t shaved. I guess I should just walk around with my penis hanging out so people will know I’m a dude.
