This woman pushed a man in front of a subway train because of 9/11.

America is really doing the most this week.

A woman who told police she shoved a man to his death off a subway platform into the path of a train because she has hated Muslims since Sept. 11 and thought he was one was charged Saturday with murder as a hate crime, prosecutors said.

Obama is a Muslim.

One of my childhood friends is in the city for work and she brought her brother with her. Last night she took me out for BBQ and we ended up in the East Village having a few drinks. At some point they asked me if I regretted voting for Obama, to which I obviously said “no” and they both informed me that they hate him. I wasn’t surprised; they’re both white Southerners from very red states. I was just shocked that the reasoning had nothing to do with gay marriage or the economy or the war…it’s because he’s a Muslim.

Can we just delete Mississippi and Alabama?

I propose we just lump those two bastions of ignorance together, call it Missibama, and forget they exist.

I wouldn’t mind if the South tried to secede again to be honest. That whole place is on some whole other level of crazy, but Mississippi and Alabama are really doing big things right now.

They want Santorum to be President.
They don’t believe in interracial marriage.
They think Obama is a muslim.

I didn’t make any of this up.

These are actual news stories from the past week. Like I said…can we just delete them? I can’t really think of any contributions they make to the country other than raising the median weight of the population and keeping diabetes statistics high.

True story, kids.

A Muslim woman accused of beating her child to death over the course of a few days was photographed without her veil and headscarf for her mugshot. Her husband was upset, not over his dead child, but over the fact that his wife was humiliated at being uncovered in public.
