There are two types of vegans.
OK, Vegan Friends, go on ahead and pass by this post because you know how I get.
Yesterday I had a great little LOL when Ketan tipped me off to this amazing story:
Whole Foods mixes up vegan, chicken salads
3:31 p.m. EDT May 10, 2013
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Whole Foods Market Inc. said that labels on a chicken salad and those on a vegan version were reversed at some of its cold food bars in the Northeast.
Of course I was ROLLING, picturing all of the angry hipsters in NYC going apeshit because they inadvertently ate some animal.
But then I got sad…because that’s kind of awful for some vegans.

One white county in Kentucky understands Democratic policies are better for poor people.
It’s no secret to anyone paying attention that Republican policies hit poor Americans the hardest. Their “small government” mantra (concerning anything that doesn’t have to do with women’s bodies, adults marrying who they choose, and Christian propaganda) takes away social programs sorely needed by our nation’s economically disadvantaged. Southern white Republicans have let Jesus cloud their better judgement, voting Republican out of a sense of misguided morality and ignoring how much harder their lives are under Republican leadership.
All but one county in rural Kentucky.

CT gun lobbyists’ hateful campaign against Sandy Hook father.
Did May become National Worst Of Humanity Month and I missed the memo? In what universe is it appropriate to run a smear campaign against the father of one of the Sandy Hook victims just because you don’t agree with his feelings on gun control?

Marines’ Facebook Group reveals startling attitudes toward women.
On the heels of this week’s report on sexual assault in the military released by the Pentagon, Rep. Jackie Speier (D-CA) has blown the whistle on a misogynist Facebook group run by members of the Marines.
My stomach is churning after seeing some of the memes.

Fear not, South Carolina. Stephen Colbert takes a bit of the sting out of Mark Sanford’s win.
I, for one, am not shocked at all. I like how everyone is all up in arms that a Republican candidate won his Republican district in a Republican state in the Republican South. As if one little affair could erase all that red paint down there.

Donald Trump: Soldiers are just rapists-in-waiting.
Here’s a fun little news footnote today. Yesterday, the Pentagon released a report about rape in the military and it doesn’t look good. Instances of sexual were on the rise from 2011 and an estimated 26,000 cases went unreported or undocumented. It’s embarrassing and heartbreaking, Obama has spoken out against it, the conviction rate is shockingly low, and we need to look at why this is happening.
Aspiring President of the United States Donald Trump has an answer.

Wade Robson says Michael Jackson molested him.
Let me translate that title for you.
Wade Robson must not be able to pay his bills or he has a nasty Coke & Whores habit he needs to fund. This is ridiculous. And for me to say a Michael Jackson story is ridiculous means it is TRULY ridiculous because I am never Team Jackson Family unless Janet is involved (praise!).

Why does everybody feel bad that Lauryn Hill is going to jail?
I don’t. Lauryn Hill was stupid. Were we all up in arms when Wesley Snipes went to jail? Are we only printing out “Free Lauryn” t-shirts because she had her face was on two of the best albums of the 90s? She was stupid.
