Last week marked the 20th Anniversary of janet. and two decades later, it still holds up as one of the best pop/R&B albums of all time. Female R&B artists striving for pop superstardom will always be measured against what Janet Jackson did for music (and music video) in the mid 1990s. Let’s take it back.

But no, seriously, this song is classic Postal Service and I for one liked them way better than Death Cab for Cutie anyway. Plus, Ben sings “Lower East Side” within the first 10 seconds, so all hipster cred is met and I can breathe easily.
