I live in a constant state of early 90s.
When college rock was good, and black people were still on TV.

Dr. Carol Ball flies 200 miles from MN to SD to perform abortions in SD’s only clinic.

This woman is such a hero.

South Dakota — with an area of 77,162 square miles — has only one abortion clinic, located in Sioux Falls in the southeastern corner of the state.  Some women not only have to drive upwards of five hours each way to the clinic, but most make the trip twice because the legislature passed a law requiring women seeking an abortion to first meet with a provider and then wait 72 hours for the procedure.

The LA Times has a day in the life of Dr. Ball which is really inspiring to read, but you can’t help being disgusted at the lengths South Dakota has gone to ban abortions.

The latest Conservative trash: People on food stamps are wild animals.

Some woman running for office in South Dakota posted this.  She’s trash.  I don’t feature her.

SD State Sen.: Businesses should be able to discriminate against Blacks.

I keep telling y’all states with more than one 90-degree angle ain’t shit.

From the Huffington Post:

State Sen. Phil Jensen (R-S.D.) doesn’t believe governments should interfere in the private sector’s ability to engage in race-based discrimination, according to an interview published in the Rapid City Journal on Sunday.

Of course he has a reason for that though.  I love when Republicans come out with actual reasons behind the foolish things they say because the logic always falls apart on closer analysis.

Some lady in South Dakota went to jail for breastfeeding somebody else’s baby.

From the Huffington Post:

…A mom was startled to find a woman she didn’t know breastfeeding her child in her Brookings bedroom on Sunday, radio station KJJQ reported.

The mom called 911 after she allegedly found the intruder around 5 a.m. feeding her two-month-old infant, according to the Associated Press.

The mother got her baby back from the rogue lactating lady, but the suspect stayed in the house and lay on the resident’s bed until police arrived to arrest her.

Brookings police department officials didn’t return calls from The Huffington Post, but news reports said the 24-year-old suspect was charged with unlawful occupancy.

Neither the suspect nor victim was identified.

….”suspect was charged with unlawful occupancy.”

Where is the rest of that sentence?  Unlawful occupancy of a strange baby’s mouth by your tiddie?  Y’all, that is crazy.  She was probably on meth.  You know how those super-rural areas are.  Nothing to do?  Let’s make some meth from stuff we got at Wal-Mart.

I told y’all about those states with right angles….don’t go there.  That is an extra level of insane normal folks shouldn’t be dealing with.
