A brief history of video games.

Can we talk about how awesome it was to grow up with video games? I don’t think I ever thought about how cool it was that we got to grow up watching the technology advance as we got older.

(…)To commemorate the release of Super Mario 3D Land on Sunday, Nintendo will be setting up an obstacle course in New York City’s Times Square on the Saturday before the game’s debut, complete with trampolines, warp pipes and a flagpole marker. Along with all the frolicking, attendees will be able to take pictures with Mario and, most importantly, buy Super Mario 3D Land for the 3DS early. No word if they’ll be handing out Tanooki tails.

Who wants to go play with me Saturday?  
This is the most excited I’ve been about anything since the first news that Pop Up Video was coming back to television.

Natsumi Hayashi, from her website where she posts self-pics of herself “levitating.” She says sometimes she has to jump 300 times to get the perfect shot, but in my opinion, her results are totally worth it! She looks like a real-life Japanese Princess Toadstool from Super Mario Brothers 2, the one nobody cared about.
