Not even Tyler Perry is safe from racial profiling.

I’m not a Tyler Perry fan so I don’t subscribe to his Facebook. Thankfully, I know people who do or I never would’ve come across this gem he posted yesterday.

A few days before President Obama was supposed to speak at my studio, I was leaving the studio, headed to the airport. Most times when I leave the studio I have an unmarked escort. Other times I constantly check in my rearview mirror to be sure that I’m not being followed. It’s a safety precaution that my security team taught me. As I got to an intersection, I made a left turn from the right lane and was pulled over by two police officers. I pulled the car over and put it in park. Then, I let the window down and sat in the car waiting for the officer. The officer came up to the driver’s door and said that I made an illegal turn. I said, “I signaled to get into the turning lane, then made the turn because I have to be sure I’m not being followed.” He said, “why do you think someone would be following you?”

Ashley Olsen says she will never act again.

…”I don’t have to be a pretty face,” Ash told the mag. “I’ve done that, but now it’s important and liberating to be on the other side of the lens. I don’t like to be the center of attention anymore.” (cont.)

Remember back when Kim Kardashian was just that girl who got run up in by Brandy’s brother? Remember how she wasn’t making millions of dollars for standing and breathing? Remember how she was Brandy’s “stylist” and went buckwild with the credit card? Remember how Brandy’s mom sued her ass for like $120K plus interest?

What does Tyler Perry have to do with this?

Well, he cast Kim’s extra-ridiculously-untalented ass in his new movie…and he cast Brandy as her co-star.

Tyler Perry is a true stunt queen.

Sometimes white people say unpopular things out loud that they usually reserve for private thoughts. And then you have to take a step back and say “oh that was ballsy, kudos to you, white person.” Because Tyler Perry really does need to sit down for awhile.

What I am about to say may piss a few of my followers off. But, it is the way that I feel and I did not start this blog to go against how I feel solely to make everyone happy, so here goes…

Tyler Perry should NOT be allowed to make movies anymore.

That’s right. I said it.

His movies are God awful. Every single one of them. I know that I am going to catch some flack for this, because Tyler casts his movies almost completely with black actors, and in the eyes of many, is giving black actors a chance to get noticed in the industry. That, I am ALL for. However, what is ACTUALLY going down is that Tyler Perry is making awful movies that only get attention from the mainstream media because of how awful they are.

PLEASE STOP TYLER!!!

Just like Vanilla Ice closed doors for aspiring white rappers and set them back a decade, I’m starting to fear that you may be doing the same.

I swore I’d never see another Tyler Perry movie after he massacred For Colored Girls. But I’d buy a ticket for this. Or at least download it on the low.

Edit: I just read it for real. It’s for an actual movie. This poster is not a joke. I am, therefore, SO UPSET and Mr. Perry and his foolishness. Tyler…you need to sit ALL THE WAY DOWN. IN THE BACK.
