I just want to hear out of the GOP's own mouths that their reaction to this impeachment inquiry is unconstitutional just because they're doing everything they can to protect their President, including telling witnesses not to testify when they'd be arrested for that refusal under any other circumstance.

Benson & Stabler would’ve already arrested this White House aide avoiding a subpoena.

A Tale of Two Presidents: Moats & Alligators
Donald Trump suggested a moat with alligators and snakes, not as a joke or as an exaggeration, but in earnest as a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. How much outrage do you think there will be?

Why do they suddenly think we need a wall anyway?
The US has had a border with Mexico for over 200 years. It’s the 9th longest land border in the world and it’s the most frequently crossed boundary in the world. How is it that NOW we need a wall? Did something happen? Did Mexico declare war? Did they suddenly tank the US economy? Or do we have a racist President?

No one “deserves” to be an American.
It’s so maddening that the only argument Trump supporters have about immigration rests on the unacknowledged premise that they were simply lucky enough to be born in a country where their lives aren’t in danger. You didn’t do anything to *deserve* living in the US either.

Vox: Paul Ryan’s Long Con
Anybody still giving the benefit of the doubt to Republicans needs to go outside and break off a switch. Republicans keep playing this “fiscal responsibility” card, and too many of us keep falling for it to debate its merits as if their positions ever hold fast once they get elected. “Fiscal responsibility” is a catchphrase to bring two groups to the polls: rich people and poor whites.

Daily Beast: Trump on Coming Debt Crisis – ‘I Won’t Be Here’ When It Blows Up
We point out a lot of ways this current administration is breaking from accepted norms, but the one difference that gets the least discussion is the frequency with which Trump and this current GOP says out loud what we all knew to be true anyway.

ThinkProgress: Michigan GOP cuts paid sick leave, repeals minimum wage increase in lame-duck session
How do we impress upon our representatives that Republicans have no intention of playing fair and we have get in the gutter with them in order to clean it up? We can’t afford to go high when they keep taking a baseball bat to the knees of democracy.

The Hill: Wisconsin Senate passes limits on incoming Dem governor
Republicans are such crybaby snowflakes. The only thing that matters to them is winning, and whenever they don’t (or can’t), they just rewrite the rules.
